What should I do if there are bubbles in the rubber after vulcanization?

After the rubber is vulcanized, there are always some bubbles on the surface of the sample, ranging in size. After cutting, there are also a few bubbles in the middle of the sample.

Analysis of the causes of bubbles on the surface of rubber products

1. The rubber is mixed unevenly and the operators are not standardized.

2. The parking of rubber films is not standardized and the environment is unhygienic. Management is not standardized.

3. The material contains moisture (add some calcium oxide when mixing)

4. Insufficient vulcanization, and it looks like there are bubbles when it is not cooked.

5. Insufficient vulcanization pressure.

6. There are many impurities in the vulcanizing agent, and the impurities of small molecules decompose in advance, leaving bubbles in the products.

7. The exhaust design of the mold itself is unreasonable, and the air cannot be exhausted in time when the rubber material rushes through the line!

8. The product is too thick, there is too little rubber material, and the rubber heat transfer is slow. After the surface is vulcanized, the fluidity of the rubber decreases, resulting in a shortage of material, so bubbles may occur.

9. The exhaust gas is not discharged properly during the vulcanization process.

10. Formula problems, the vulcanization system needs to be improved.

Solution: Improve vulcanization pressure and time

1. Extend the vulcanization time or increase the vulcanization speed.
2. Thin pass several times before vulcanization.
3. Exhaust air more often during vulcanization.
